Late to meeting point

£1 per each 5 minute delay, to a maximum of £2. Please note the DEPARTURE time of your team. If you are late, not only may you be fined, but you could also be left behind, or your place in the side offered to another player.

Job Descriptions



Referee Liaison Officer
To act as referee liaison for the match days (only home games at Vicky Park and Hackney marshes). You will be expected to get the referees details from either your manager or fixture secretary prior to the game and to make contact either on the Friday or Saturday morning. Your aim is to assist them in getting to the match venue (by talking them through directions etc) and to help in any way to ensure that they arrive on time and at the right place. All other referee organisation e.g. match card, subs etc will be coordinated by the relevant managers on the day as per usual.

Team Manager
Organizer on the day. Ensures the team is adequately prepared. Your first point of contact for all queries. Their contact details are always published at the same time as the team lists.

Captain
On pitch leader and motivator

Pack Leader
Motivates the pack and ensures they do their jobs in both the tight and loose as well as the set pieces. In some teams a backs leader may also be allocated.

Alcohol provider / Port Boy / Beer Boy
Club tradition dictates that alcohol shall be drunk in the changing room after the game. The Llamas hold a strong tradition of having a bottle or two of port after the match.

Ball Boy
Ensures that there are three balls available prior to the match and that all three come back afterwards. Balls are usually located in the Portacabin It is not the responsibility of the ball boy to buy new balls.Also is responsible for making sure match balls are collected and returned at the end of the game.

Kit Collector
Ensures that a full clean kit is available at the meet.The kit is kept at the launderette on Manchester Road, halfway between the Pier Tavern and Island Gardens DLR station.

Water Boy
Ensures that there is adequate water for the game. Water bottles are usually housed in the Portacabin.

Subs
Someone allocated by the manager to collect the match day subs.

Match Report Writer
Someone allocated by the manager to write the post match report that will feature in the following weeks program.
