The Railway Arches on Millwall Park
LINKS TO PHOTOS (BELOW).
There are 6 bricked up arches at the southern (Island Gardens)
end of the old railway viaduct that runs along the western edge of Millwall
Park.
A plan is shown below. From left to right (south to north) the arches
were previously used as follows:
Arch 1 - A storage area
for goal posts and parks machinery.
Arch 2 - entry and office
for Arch 1.
Arch 3 - formerly a cafe
Arch 4 - 4 changing rooms
for sports teams
Arch 5 -
Showers and toilets for the changing rooms
Arch 6 - 4 changing rooms
for sports teams (same as Arch 4)
Millwall Rugby Club has been allocated Arches 1 and 2 (marked 0040 and
0050 on the plan below).
The Docklands Settlement has been allocated Arches 3 & 4 and George
Green's School has been allocated Arches 5 & 6.

and the work that has been done. They are organised by the date on which
