About the City of Ljubljana

Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia, is a dynamic Central European city lying at an altitude of 298m above sea level in a broad basin between the Alps and the Adriatic Sea. It covers a surface area of 275 km2 and has a population of 276,000. Map of club grounds .

Essential Economic Facts

Beer Price: Ranges from £0.80 to £1.50 in pubs and clubs and can be found a bit cheaper in shops.

Loads of Bars, Clubs, “Men’s Clubs” and Terrace Cafes.

Exact plans are to be confirmed but possible excursions include Lake Bled and white water rafting, Coastal towns, Paintball etc.

Cost

Around £350. We budget around £350 per tourist and have managed to keep to this budget in the past, taking into account our tour fundraising and sponsorship activities. Euro exchange rates and fluctuating flight costs may add / reduce the cost especially if you sign up or pay deposits late).

You'll need to pay a deposit of £120 before the 15th December. A further £150 will be due by the end of February and the balance will be due by 5th April 2009.

How to Pay

Please pay by direct bank transfer into the MILLWALL RFC TOUR ACCOUNT:

• Account No: 71410326
• Please quote your full name as the payment reference so that we can reconcile your payment.

The above method of payment is the preferred method and cash / cheques will only be taken with prior agreement with tour organisers.

Why not set up a standing order to spread your payments. You can contact your bank quoting the same bank details and reference as above to do this. Simply send one or two initial payments totalling at least £120 before 15th December to cover your deposit. Then spread the balance over four payments at the end of December, January, February and March. Depending when you start, this could cost you as little as £60 a month.

Fundraising

Each year we try to organise additional events/activities before we go. This will helps cover the the cost of the tour and may enable us to do a few extra trips or activities. As tourists we all need to make an effort to bring in some extra funds; things like raffles, tour quiz nights, company sponsorships will all help! We hope that all tourists will support and help arrange tour-specific fundraising events.
